Description of Style

Each of my pieces reflects a different approach to composition. It's all about the development of a certain idea emerging at a specific moment, it's about regarding  seemingly scattered pieces as a signal and to follow the inner urge of pursuing an idea and writing it down as accurately as possible for the performers - wherever this idea as a "work in progress" with all its meanderings might lead to. Originality and "the unheard-of" is always a high personal claim. I more or less let my pieces develop themselves on their own and observe where the piece wants to go after sketching the first outlines and forms. It is one of my goals to give the performers as much room for interpretation and implementation as possible, but also to make sure that a certain core of my work remains untouched and therefore intact and at the end speaks for itself - independent from anyone but able to address each listener on a personal level.
