Singer, producer, arranger, trumpeter, songwriter, teacher, artistic director; it would be hard to find a more varied musicians portfolio. Horst-Michael Schaffer’s musical endeavours were long known by only a handful of musical insiders. It wasn’t until he took over the Jazz Bigband Graz that he stepped into the public spotlight and since shaped the image of the Austrian contemporary Bigband.
