Andreas Waelti was born in Thun (Switzerland) and studied double-bass in Bern, Basel and Berlin. Having completed his studies with Bänz Oester, Sigi Busch and Chris Dahlgreen he first moved to Berlin where he had already lived suring a 1-year study-stay and lateron he moved to Vienna.
