Matthias Schulz-Eigner has been a flautist at the stage orchestra of the Viennese State Opera since 2005. 

He also plays with the Wiener Volksoper, in the Wiener Kammerorchester and is soloist for the Wiener Johann Strauß Orchester. He has also performed as soloist with the Tonkünstler Orchester Niederösterreich, the Wiener Kammerorchester, the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg and the Sinfonieorchester des Mitteldeutschen Rundfunks Leipzig. His chamber music activities have taken him with various ensembles to the stages of the Festspiele in Salzburg, the International Beethoven Festival in Bonn, the Carinthischen Sommer and the Festival Allegro Vivo.

as a concert-musician cooperation with the Salzburg Festival, Music Days Mondsee, Neuberger Kulturtagen, Mozart-Week Salzburg, the International Beethoven-Festival Bonn and with the Festival Allegro Vivo
