Austrian Jazz Composers' Orchestra

General Information

Austrian Jazz Composers' Orchestra was founded in the early eighties in the cellars of the Vienna Conservatory, when Christian Mühlbacher and Christoph Cech, instead of practicing, indulged in their dreams of a big band and formed a strong musical bond that is still the backbone of this band to this day. The big band was not initially founded as a big band, but rather grew in size over the years.
