Born in 1931 in Villach, Carinthia, where he completed primary school and high school (graduated 1949). He met Josef Matthias HAUER (1951) through Ferdinand Grossmann (Wiener Akademie-Kammerchor). In the following years, an important exchange of thoughts took place between the two and a friendship developed between Fheodoroff and his teacher, who offered addressing him in the informal German form of you ("Du" instead of "Sie") on his death bed (1959). Explicitly asked to co-manage (with Dr. Johannes Schwieger) the artistic legacy of J.M.Hauer. As of 1965 he carried out different functions at the diocese commission for church music of the Gurk Diocese in Klagenfurt, such as editor of the standardised hymn-book "Gotteslob" and author of the song parts in the standardised organ book's appendix by the Diocese. For many years he was the director of the music department of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation's regional studios in Carinthia, and during this time, Fheodoroff initiated activities in order to revive the music scene in the area: he gave composition commissions to Dieter Kaufmann, Hans Jörg Scherr, Erich Opitz, Norbert Artner, Gerhard Lampersberg, Gerhard Dallinger, Hans Pleschberger, and Günther Antesberger, among others. As of autumn 1967 he was responsible for the public studio concerts of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (some 200 events), in which hundreds of works were performed, of which about 150 were world premieres of Carinthian, Austrian, and European composers. He enabled the production of records of works by Carinthian composers through the Austrian Composers' Association with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Carinthian authorities. For some years he was the director of recordings at the Salzburg Festspiele and at the "Musikprotokoll" of the Steirische Herbst. Has worked as conductor, choir director, pianist, organist, and cembalist. As the artistic director of the Madrigal Choir he performed in Austria and abroad (Germany, Mexico, Guatemala, Soviet Union, South Africa, etc) and cooperated with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra in Ljubljana. For many years he also organised and sometimes conducted exchange concerts between Studio Kärnten and RTV Ljubljana. For some years, he was a consultant to the Austrian Composers' Association, board member of the ISCM, director of the working group for the promotion of music of the Austrian Music Council. He has lectured in academies, at the Catholic Educational Institute, in adult education, at WIFI and at the university for educational sciences in Klagenfurt. Editor of his own writing, culture reports, theatre critique, and essays (main topics include: choir and organ music, Josef Matthias Hauer, etc), he cooperates in many audio transmissions and is a lecturer and laudator at congresses, festival events, etc.
