Peter Böhm sees to the technical and artistic realisation of the works of Austrian composers at international festivals for new music (for example Roman Haubenstock-Ramati, Beat Furrer, Mauricio Sotelo, Olga Neuwirth, Clemens Gadenstätter, Daniel Rothman, Gerhard E. Winkler, Peter Ablinger and many others).
As co-founder of the Musik Labor Wien, he has also designed multimedia installations, and sometimes even gets around to composing music. The trained violinist has also played in a variety of bands, including Violent Violins and Roland Neuwirths Extremschramschrammeln.

Description of Style

His works are shaped by medial aspects, and are for experimental theatre, films and videos, as well as sound installations and sound direction concepts. In his performances together with first class performers of contemporary music he has been intensively involved in structural and sound processes between the instruments, live electronics and synthesis.
