Wherever he may "roam", be it the genres of Jazz, Noise or folk music, improvisation is always the focus, the energetic dialogue with his fellow musicians. Max Nagl's compositions are characterised by musical opposites, free and organised music, dissonant and harmonic, but he never sets foot on the safe terrain of the predictable.
