Born in Hungary in1932. Fled to Austria in 1957 and continued the education he had started in Pecs at Vienna University. After completing his studies he carried out non-music related jobs in order to secure his livelihood and composed in his free time. Since his retirement he has fully dedicated himself to composing.

 

Note: the list of works cited is to be understood as exemplary of the numerous composed sophisticated dance and light music works and is not exhaustive. Ideas from earlier years which were never used for lack of a lyricist are used in his later works.

Description of Style

In my opinion, music should still express feelings, moods, but also humour. The performing musician and the listener should experience fun instead of torment. I write melodies that are easy to remember, modern, colourful harmonies and in church modes, as well as in multi and atonal keys. I use time changes frequently in dance music, which adds suspense. Fashionable tendencies do not interest me. The theme itself determines the style.
