Felix Lee, born in 1935 as the son of a Chinese music student and a native Viennese woman, studied at the Vienna Conservatory, creating numerous compositions for accordion (teaching literature, solo, duo, orchestra, chamber music), chansons and Viennese songs on texts by - amongst others - Peter Herz, Joseph Kaderka, Ernst Buchta as well as compositions for the former ORF-Orchestra (Karel Krautgartner) conducted by Hans Solomon. His compositions have been repeatedly broadcasted via ORF and have been published on various records. As a member of the "Gola Accordion Duo" with Prof. Gertrude Kisser, he appears at concerts, on the radio and on television. In 2006 he got awarded the professional title "Professor" by the Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture.
