Composer and musician for theatre, silent movies, film and jazz. Member of various jazz formations from 1971-1985. Since 1983 he has been writing music for theatre productions at the Theater an der Josefstadt, Kammerspiele, Justus Neumann, Theater der Jugend, Volkstheater Vienna, Gruppe 80. Since 1988 he has been accompanying more than 480 silent movies on the piano. Compositions for the silent movies "Café Elektric", "Die Stadt ohne Juden", "Der Wiener Prater im Film" and "Saturnfilme". From 2000 on, music for film and television.
