Description of Style

"I see myself as a seeker. "What can I write today and how can I write it : What is it, for whom is it, in what context will the piece be performed?", these are the central questions of my work. I am constantly trying to find an effective language, I do not consider it my task to set up a new vocabulary and therewith related rules which then have to be conveyed. I want to deal with the material that is already there in a whole new deal and use it in this way that it makes sense to me. Children and adults should therefore be able to handle this situation."

Elisabeth Naske, 2004 - quoted from NMZ 2004/07, 52. year's issue, p. 24
