Description of Style

Murat Üstün's music ranges between the western and eastern culture. His compositions are based on Turkish folk music, which Murat Üstün already enjoyed as a child. For the composer rhythm means life, thus polyrhythmic patterns characterize many of his works. His imaginative stories often include musical and personal experiences.
