"Lecture-performance in four movements.
An exploration of cause and effect of sonic events with particular emphasis on spatial relationships.
1st movement – Emptiness and Fullness
2nd movement – Gesture and Trace
3rd movement – Object and Setting
4th movement – Inner and Outer
My series of performative works “In the mines of matter” explores the intricate relationship of sound and matter by isolating some of its fundamental aspects. Rather than being a “talk”, this lecture conveys information by illustrating the concepts directly through the acts of appearing, sitting, writing and leaving."
