Concert trail through the inner city of Bruges (BE), including different short pieces for different dispositions based on the “Missa de Sancto Donatiano” by Obrecht performed by a few professional musicians and ca.250 amateur musicians."

"St. Donaas (Donatian's) Cathedral rises up, stone by musical stone. 
What if the Burg became a church square again? And what if that church didn’t consist of stone, but of sound? Season composer Frederik Neyrinck accepts the challenge and expands and manipulates Obrecht’s Missa de Sancto Donatiano into a new work for soloists, ensembles, orchestras and choirs from Bruges and its wider environs. Follow the trail of his music to various indoor and outdoor locations, with a grand finale at the Burg. Donaas lives!"

Weitere Informationen: Wat als de Burg weer een kerkplein werd? En wat als die kerk niet uit stenen bestond, maar uit klank? Seizoenscomponist Frederik Neyrinck ging de uitdaging aan en verdraaide, vergrootte en vervreemde Obrechts Missa de Sancto Donatiano tot een nieuw werk voor solisten, ensembles, orkesten en koren uit Brugge en het wijde ommeland. We volgden het spoor van zijn muziek naar verschillende binnen- en buitenlocatiesin Brugge.
